Exploring Nature's Patterns Through Drawing - A Third Stage Event
Come and enjoy discovering the beauty of nature's patterns through the medium of drawing. Many of you will be familiar with the spiral of a snail shell and hexagonal honeycomb cells within a beehive.
Working on cartridge paper/pastel paper, with a selection of drawing materials, including chunky graphite pencil and conte paste explore the patterns inherit in a range of natural objects. The workshop is about having fun and the pleasure of mark making.
This session is led by Lisa Gribbon, an artist printmaker, who studied Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee and Horticulture with Plantmanship at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh.
