Exploding Patterns with Anne Marquiss -- A Third Stage Only Event
Henri Matisse used very simple materials, such as paper and gouache to create collages. These colourful cut-outs were of an equal simplicity and complexity. Taking inspiration from this technique as an independent medium, you will create collages of simple shape and forms. Taking rubbings from these cut-outs, they will be transformed into unique cards to take home.
Anne Marquiss is a contemporary jewellery designer, living in Aberdeenshire. She is a teacher and mentor, working with emerging artists and designers to develop their creative practices.
