Haddo Arts Festival: Experimental Use of Space
Open arts exhibition featuring works in a variety of mediums, coordinated by Roderick Scott and Margaret Preston.
Following the last years’ successful exhibition, the National Trust for Scotland and Haddo Arts are hosting an open art exhibition during Haddo Arts Festival 2019. Coordinated by Roderick Scott and Margaret Preston, *Connections* features 3D art works (sculpture, film, image projection, photography, painting, printmaking, installation, textiles, performance and sound) set in the unique spaces in and around the amazing south courtyard of Haddo House, an area which the public rarely get the chance to visit.
The Hope Scott Trust have generously supported *Connections* exhibition by funding the professional lighting from Simon Gane.
Alongside the 3D show prize winning painter Leila Kleineidam will have a solo exhibition of paintings in the Mobil room. Leila’s work is focused on the connections between human activity and the environment.
Artists participating in the exhibition include: Amy Benzy, Margaret Preston, April Pressley, Ruth Kent, Rosy Wood, Aleksandra Kusowska, Sadie Main, Anne Marquiss, Susan Cassie, Rhiannon Cambell, Lorna Purvis, Hugh Stewart, Lynne Meanie, Jean Paul Baptiste, Isla Barrow, John Barrow, Mags Gray, Kate Steenhauer, Irene Hunter, Rafael Bernal Coates, Hannah Fraser, Moira Downie, Shirelle Young, Rachael Rutherford, Iain McEwan, James Winnett, Claudia Sneddon and Roderick Scott.
