Open arts exhibition featuring works in a variety of mediums, coordinated by Roderick Scott and Margaret Preston.

The National Trust and Haddo Arts will be hosting “Experimental use of (2m) Space 2020” in October. This is the third annual exhibition to be held in the unique spaces of Haddo House in Aberdeenshire. This year we present a promenade exhibition of robust 3D art works outside in the spacious South Courtyard and adjacent private garden.

Artists include Mags Gray, Shirelle Young, Anne Marquiss, Amy Benzie, Jean Paul Baptiste, Moira Downie, Rosy Wood, Aleks Kusowska, April Pressley, Emma Jane Kingaby, Helen Denerley, Margaret Preston, Rod Scott, Leila Kleineidam and Helen Jackson. These artists have produced site-specific works using ceramics, textiles, weaving, film, projection, sculpture, found and ready-made objects. The lighting for the show will be done by Simon Gane.

On the opening day, Saturday the 3rd of October, the exhibition will remain open until 7pm so that the shadows cast by the work can be enjoyed. The exhibition will run daily until Saturday the 10th of October 10am - 4pm.

Mindful of the pandemic the entire exhibition will be out of doors, a one-way route through the exhibition will be sign-posted and 2m social distancing will be in operation.
