Etch a Ring Workshop
In the morning we will meet at Duff House where you will be able to spend time looking around this magnificent Georgian House looking for inspirational images and patterns to develop into a silver etched ring. In the afternoon, we will experiment with patterns and using acid to etch a design onto a chunky silver band.
In four hours, you will create a design and make a silver ring completely unique to you in the beautiful Smiddy in Banff. Visitors will make their own way from Duff House to the Smiddy, but directions will be given.
No experience needed, and all materials are provided. Please bring a camera, smart phone or sketch book with you to capture your favourite images.
Due to the intricate nature of the work in this workshop, good eyesight and hand dexterity is needed.
Lunch is not provided, please bring a packed lunch or there will be a break to visit the café.
£18 for Members. Max of 6 participants and must be 16yrs+
