Traditional Gaelic arts sessions for young people in the North East of Scotland aged 0--18.
Fèis is the Gaelic word for festival, and Fèis Obar Dheathain/The Aberdeen Fèis offers traditional music tuition and a Gaelic arts experience to young people in Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland. The Fèis targets a wide age range and has a main three day fèis which runs for three days in the Easter holidays and caters for children aged 0-18. All sessions at Fèis Obar Dheathain include some Gaelic language, so your child can develop their Gaelic language skills at the same time as learning an instrument or participating in arts-based sessions. Don’t worry if your child doesn’t speak any Gaelic, they will learn some new words and phrases over the three days.
