In this interactive talk, Carole Keepax will trace a path through the history of dyeing in Scotland. From the plants and methods used from the simplest rural dyepot through to industrialisation and its cultural, economic, social and political implications, resulting in a range of methods and approaches which can be learned from and still used today.
