Ekphrastic Writing
Find inspiration in the visual realm using ekphrastic writing – writing which explores the meaning or significance for an artwork for you through poem or a story. There will be a variety of artworks for you to choose from, guided by different ways in which you might responds to them. Participants can explore the themes and ideas your chosen piece evokes using stream of consciousness writing, and experiment with different perspectives.
The workshop includes space for reflection on the process and sharing your creative work.
There is a sliding scale ticket price for this event of £3 - £8. Please choose what you feel applies to you.
