Aberdeen Jazz Festival: Ali Affleck & the Spicy Lil' Devils Quartet
Ali Affleck has earned a solid reputation as the quintessential ‘go to’ vocalist for authentic traditional jazz. Passionate, expressive, unique and - above all - refreshingly unpretentious, her interpretations breathe new life into this rich musical heritage. As part of their new album release tour, bassist Andrew Sharkey joins Ali's Spicy Lil' Devils to form a quartet for their first performance in Aberdeen. Expect sizzling hot swinging 1930s sounds from some of the style’s finest exponents.
