39 Steps
Set in a radio studio and performed as a live radio broadcast, an ensemble of four actors bring to life the characters and sounds of this classic tale of murder, love and espionage.
The studio’s Play of the Day is the fast-paced spy adventure, later made famous by master of suspense, Alfred Hitchcock. Twists and turns are guaranteed as man-on-the-run Richard Hannay travels the length and breadth of Britain in search of the truth behind… The 39 Steps.
This fun production will see multiple memorable characters created and the story of John Buchan’s great novel told in under an hour as we step inside the broadcasting studio and the making of a live drama during the golden age of radio.
