Crochet Rope Baskets
Create a beautiful chunky basket using natural cotton rope, perfect for storage and display in a bedroom or bathroom. In this class you will make one basket, approximately 30cm in diameter and 15-20cm high (or narrower and taller if you prefer). You will learn how to craft the base and sides and how to add integrated handles.
This class is suitable for anyone who has basic crochet skills already (e.g. you may have completed a learn to crochet class) - you should be able to confidently crochet UK doubles and trebles.
PLEASE NOTE: Crocheting rope can be quite physical as the coarse material is crocheted quite tightly to give structure to the finished product. This class is not suitable for those with any weakness in their arm, hand or wrist.
