Con Anima: Hosanna to the Son of David
Con Anima’s spring concert for 2018 has been built around Bach’s sparkling and complex choral motet setting of Jesu meine Freude – Jesus, my joy.
Join us, along with conductor Roger B Williams MBE, for a programme of music for the season of lent, including MacMillan’s O Radiant Dawn, Gibbons Hosanna to the Son of David, and Tomkins When David Heard.
The concert will also feature talented Aberdeen violinist Amy Birse as a guest soloist, and will be accompanied on the organ by Prof. Andrew Morrisson.
