A Festive Rare Fayre at Glen Garioch Distillery

With a range of food and craft stalls from local producers, you’ll discover unique pieces to help kick-start your Christmas shopping. Enjoy a delicious hot toddy and have a chat with knowledgeable tour guides as you sample the honeyed sweetness and delicious creamy texture of the Glen Garioch range.

The Festive Rare Fayre also marks the launch of a brand new expression, the Glen Garioch 2000. Distilled on 26th September 2000 right here at our distillery, cask 574 captures the essence of Christmas. Evoking notes of baked lemon meringue and sweet mincemeat pie, this whisky reveals flavours of heather blossom honey, brandy and brown sugar for a long memorable finish.

Aged exclusively in a single first fill ex-bourbon barrel, this unique dram comes from one cask and one cask only. Each bottle is individually numbered and personally signed by Glen Garioch’s very own legend, Distillery Manager Kenny ‘Digger’ Grant, helping mark the launch of the exclusive new tour - Legends of the Garioch Experience. Join Glen Garioch between 1-2pm to meet the legend himself and hear some of the stories from his time spent working at the distillery.

They will also be running a range of masterclasses throughout the day which require advanced booking. Please contact +44 (0)1651 873450 or email here to book your place as spaces are limited.
