Huskyhaven is the home of Iditarod musher Wattie McDonald and his team of Siberian Huskies. Wattie has twice completed the Iditarod Sled Dog race covering 1049 miles over Alaska’s tough winter terrain from Anchorage to Nome.

At Huskyhaven you can meet the team of Siberian huskies, visit the kennels with audio and visual presentations and also get to run your very own team of dogs.

Situated on the outskirts of Stonehaven, Huskyhaven brings you a little bit of Alaska to the North East. Unfortunately they can’t guarantee any snow but they can guarantee an experience to remember. They offer a hands-on experience to get fully involved with the pack, running the dogs using a 3 wheeled cart called a rig.

Huskyhaven offer ½ day and full day tours, weekend tours and corporate options. School and youth groups are also welcome.

There’s something for everyone!
