Finzean Estate Farm Shop & Tea Room
We are now a firmly established local and tourist destination offering the very best of Scottish hospitality, fabulous homemade food, interesting retail choice from artisan food to quirky gifts and amazing art work hanging on the walls, outdoor pursuit opportunities & accommodation on the Estate. We are a unique set up steeped in history. The Farquharson family has lived in Finzean for over 400 years and it is historically best known for being home to the renowned Victorian landscape artist, Joseph Farquharson. The present generation of Farquharsons and the team at the Farm Shop proudly promote this special place as Scotland’s “best kept secret”. As mentioned before we employ 22 members of staff which is a big commitment but they are all local, work very hard and are themselves ambassadors of the very best of Scottish produce and customer care.
Because of our tranquil location and stunning views we have many customers from the local community, tourists, the very elderly to the tiniest of new born babies and their inquisitive siblings who all feel very safe in the Tearoom and enjoy the very personal, attentive service, the freedom to roam in and outside and enjoy the stunning views. The outdoor play equipment is popular with wee tots to teenagers. There is also a dedicated, fenced off grass area for dogs.
We are also a popular venue for walking and cycling groups who often turn up en mass, un announced, order lots of scones & bacon butties and lots of different styles of hot drinks all at once! Meanwhile the kitchen are tasked to make a second batch of scones. We wouldn't have it any other way!
We have a very personal approach with our customers and welcome their feedback as we want to keep improving what we do & make sure we are offering the right choices. Trip Advisor can be the hardest task master at times but all reviews are taken board!
