Aberdeen’s lively nightlife has many options for those looking for something stylish, traditional and of course, fun!
The city’s night scene can be enjoyed at one of the many traditional pubs, craft beer taverns or lavish bars. There are three central casinos and there’s even one in a 140 year-old Grade B Listed Building… Soul Bar and Casino is a contemporary casino and bar converted from a historic church – it still retains some of its original features including stained glass windows, high ceilings and church organ.
Aberdeen has a popular club scene with over 8 different clubs covering a genre of music and themes from 80’s, 90’s, R&B to dance. Club Tropicana and Vogue are the perfect destinations for a fun night out playing the greatest hits of the 80’s & 90’s, get ready to dance all night! For those looking for something a little more subtle, NOX and Babylon are the amongst the city’s most sophisticated and fashionable clubs.
Looking for something a bit ‘underground’? We’ve got that too. Literally. The Tunnels, quietly nestled under Union Street, has become one of the city’s best live music venues – last year Aberdonian Emeli Sande held an intimate gig here – she used to play at the venue when she was starting out!
The area is also popular for Hen Do’s and Stag Do’s with a lively nightlife that won’t disappoint.
