Cruden Bay
Cruden Bay is a firm favourite with tourists thanks to its big skies and wide horizons. An undiscovered sandy white beach, crystal clear waters and quaint fishing harbour make it a place of splendour.
Stumble across one of Aberdeenshire’s finest sandcapes at the Cruden Bay Golf Club. The panoramic views across the coast and of Slains Castle in the distance, will take any golfers breath away.
Dramatic Slains Castle tells its own story of historic importance, and that of one of the world’s favourite storytellers! Bram Stoker stayed near Slains and it is said that it is here he conceived ‘Dracula’.
Nearby, Bullers of Buchan is a spectacle in its own right; a place to breathe free and roam peacefully. The rugged cliff edge in all its natural beauty is home to many seabirds including puffins!
Getting There
Head north from Aberdeen by car via the A90. There is an available bus route operated by Stagecoach.
Nearby places include Peterhead, Collieston and Hatton.
