What is now Belmont Filmhouse was built in 1896 as a trades hall. The first film was shown on the premises in 1898, and 'The Belmont' has been park of Aberdeen's cultural fabric for well over 100 years.

A three-screen independent cinema showing a curated selection of new cinema releases, cherished classics, family films, documentaries, animation and short films from around the world, Belmont Filmhouse is for everyone.

Fully licensed, it serves drinks and snacks to enjoy while you watch, and offers ticket deals, discounts and concessions for all screenings.
