Ring in 2026 in style: unmissable Hogmanay celebrations in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire

With 2025 coming to an end, it’s time to celebrate with a bang! From street festivals to Scottish traditions, a spectacular Hogmanay in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire awaits you!

Be wowed at Stonehaven Fireballs

As the midnight bells chime across Stonehaven, locals and visitors will be welcoming the new year with the unique and beloved Stonehaven Fireballs. Watch as the dark December sky lights fiercely with flaming balls spun in the air in a parade of forty people.

Catch a family pantomime in the city

There’s still time to continue the festive celebrations by laughing the afternoon or evening away at a traditional pantomime. If you're in the city, then you can enjoy a viewing of Cinderella at His Majesty's Theatre, suitable for all the family.

Hogmanay Ceilidh

There’s nothing more Scottish than a Hogmanay Ceilidh! Head to the Beach Ballroom for a Hogmanay dance with Hipflask Ceilidh band.  The event starts at 7pm until 12:30am and tickets include Stovies and a glass of fizz to ring in the bells!

Celebrate in style at The Fife Arms

Why not indulge in a three-night-stay filled with celebration at The Fife Arms? Start off your New Year’s Eve celebrations with bubbles, canapes, and a four-course dinner in the stunning Clunie Dining Room, before bringing in the bells with a midnight fireworks display.

New Year’s Day will begin with a hearty Scottish breakfast and Buck’s Fizz or Bloody Marys with a Highland feast served later allowing you the full day to relax with a good book next to the fire or explore the surrounding landscapes with friends and familySnapinsta.app 363349152 18292613515113576 87398080111934718 n 1080
