The Queen's View ascent commences on the outskirts of Tarland, Aberdeenshire, before continuing east towards beautiful farmland surroundings. It is named 'Queen's View' as this was claimed to be a favourite location of Queen Victoria as the scenery includes views of distant mountains such as Lochnagar.

The route is just shy of 5km with a lowest elevation of 169mm and a highest elevation of 299m. Almost 2,500 two-wheel enthusiasts have attempted the ascent on Strava, with two cyclists equaling the fastest time of 8 minutes 7 seconds.
