Meet Yvonne.
Yvonne is VisitAberdeenshire’s Head of Tourism Development. Day-to-day Yvonne leads on our industry and destination development initiatives, including our Business Recovery Programme, also our business engagement activity.
Yvonne has spent virtually her entire career in tourism, initially in area tourist board roles in the North-East in marketing, development and information services roles, and latterly in head of department roles at VisitScotland in partnership development and business products and services.
Here are three things you might not know about Yvonne:
- Some of her favourite things to see and do in the region are our stunning coastline, our abundance of castles, and sampling local food and drink.
- Her favourite part of her job is getting a buzz out of contributing to making a difference for tourism businesses.
- Yvonne in her younger days played in a ladies’ football team.
